Shipping, Pre-Order and Made-to-Order Policy

Our Business Model

Project Comte operates using a combination of ready-to-ship inventory, limited product drops, pre-orders and made-to-order production.

Many of our products are not manufactured or held in inventory before they are offered for sale. Instead, certain pieces are produced in limited quantities or manufactured specifically after customer orders are received. This allows us to create unique, highly detailed and often handmade products while limiting excess production and waste.

Products that are sold on a pre-order or made-to-order basis will be identified on the applicable product page.

Processing and Production Times

The estimated production or processing time for each product is displayed on its product page before purchase.

Depending on the product, material, complexity, production schedule and size of the drop, pre-order and made-to-order items may require up to 12–14 weeks before they are ready to ship.

The timeframe displayed on the product page is an estimate and begins from the date the order is placed. Production may be completed sooner, but customers should place their orders on the understanding that the full stated production period may be required.

Ready-to-ship products are generally processed within the shorter timeframe stated on the applicable product page.

Shipping Time Versus Production Time

Production and processing time are separate from carrier transit time.

Once an order has completed production and has been transferred to our fulfillment centre, it will be packed and shipped using the shipping service selected or made available at checkout.

Carrier transit times begin only after the customer receives a shipping-confirmation email containing tracking information.

Orders Containing Multiple Products

When an order contains products with different production or processing timelines, the order may be shipped once all items are ready.

In some circumstances, Project Comte may ship available items separately. Customers will receive tracking information for each shipment where applicable.

Estimated Timeframes

All production, processing and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed arrival dates.

Delays may occur due to production requirements, quality-control inspections, material availability, customs processing, carrier disruptions, holidays or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If a material delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to provide the customer with an update using the contact information submitted with the order.

Order Status and Customer Communication

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate email address and shipping address when placing an order.

Customers may contact our support team regarding the status of an order at:

sup@projectcomte.com

Please include the order number and the email address used to place the order.

Address Changes

Address-change requests must be submitted before the order has shipped. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered fulfillment or after a shipping label has been created.

Project Comte is not responsible for delays, returned shipments or additional costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges or other fees imposed by the destination country.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping charge.

Acceptance of Pre-Order and Made-to-Order Terms

By purchasing a product identified as a pre-order or made-to-order item, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

the product may not be immediately available;

production begins or inventory is allocated after orders are received;

the estimated production timeline shown on the product page may be up to 12–14 weeks;

carrier transit time is additional to the production period; and

the order will be fulfilled once production, quality control and processing are completed.
